Role Profile
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Residential Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for educating homeowners about the benefits of solar energy, conducting consultations, and closing sales. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through self-prospecting, referrals, and company-provided opportunities.
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess homeowner energy needs and present tailored solar solutions.
- Explain the financial, environmental, and energy-saving benefits of solar systems, including available incentives and financing options.
- Use consultative selling techniques to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Provide accurate quotes , contract details, and ensure customer understanding of the installation process.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers and follow up regularly.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and local solar regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven sales experience (preferably in solar, home improvement, or B2C sales).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and persuasive manner.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with CRM software, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Forty hours per week , occasionally including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules.
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in solar or renewable energy sales.

Salary: Base + Commission (Negotiable/On Application)
