Movement Matters Physio is a growing independent musculoskeletal private practice based in Hadleigh, Essex.

We are a friendly, patient orientated practice offering a modern, evidenced based, biopsychosocial approach, putting movement and exercise at the heart of our treatment.

Using a “test don’t guess” philosophy, with excellent movement, strength and performance testing in modern rehabilitation facilities. Our aim is to provide long-term sustainable solutions to our patients problems, quick fixes isn’t our thing!

We offer a wide range of services including:

  • MSK Physio - specialising in post op physio (ACL recon, tendon ruptures, joint replacement, post fractures, joint replacement etc)
  • Home Visit Physio
  • Focused Shockwave Therapy
  • Bespoke movement, performance and strength testing using Vald Force Decks & Dynanometry.
  • Strength & Conditioning and Personal Training Services
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Yoga & Breathwork Classes

Movement Matters Physiotherapy is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, dynamic HCPC registered physio with a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy to join our team for Maternity Cover with the potential for a permanent position to follow.

Job summary

Location: Hadleigh, Essex

Caseload: 90% self funding patients, 10% private medical insurance.

Contract type: Fixed Contract

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary band: £25.000 -£48.000 Pro Rata (depending on experience)

Experience Required: 2 years post grad experience required with experience in Private MSK outpatient physiotherapy preferred.

What will be expected

A physiotherapist at Movement Matters will be a key member of the team and responsible for delivering a first class evidenced based service to our patients on a day-to-day basis.

You will be responsible for assessing and treating neuro-musculoskeletal complaints. You will need to provide appropriate progressive exercise rehabilitation programs, manage post operative cases, offer home visits in the community and promote long-term health, fitness and well-being.

You will uphold our company’s core values and high standards whilst building strong relationships with both patients, staff and associate healthcare professionals (GPs, consultants, sports doctors).

You will be required to help promote our business internally and externally.

Education and training are key elements of Movement Matters Physio. Our vision will be supported with an inbuilt program of staff development in order to learn the Movement Matters way. You will be required to attend weekly in-service training.

Additionally you will have quarterly/ yearly appraisals.

Candidates should have:

  • Good communication, organisational and time management skills

. Good clinical reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Be able to work unsupervised and demonstrate good business acumen
  • Good IT skills and use of electronic notes system
  • HCPC and CSP registration
  • Satisfactory DBS check
  • Up to date first aid certificate (not compulsory)
