We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and have a background in administrative tasks, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a knack for team management, making it essential for fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and support office staff, ensuring that all clerical tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage administrative functions including scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies, and handling correspondence.
- Utilise Xero for financial record-keeping and assist with budgeting processes.
- Oversee human resources activities such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Develop and implement office policies to enhance organisational efficiency.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office management or administrative role is essential.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with human resources practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
