A Sales role at Tong Engineering involves:

  • UK & International travel, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. The willingness to travel and a passion to do so is essential.
  • Seeing Tong equipment ‘come to life’ as you use your skills to identify customer requirements and work with them to provide the solutions they need.
  • Having the opportunity to provide input into new products and designs.
  • Working as part of a dynamic sales team.
  • Being responsible for implementing strategic sales plans within your area of responsibility.
  • Being the link between customers and internal teams.
  • Measuring buildings and reading technical drawings.
  • Attending industry exhibitions and shows in the UK and worldwide.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Experience in selling capital equipment, and sales processes. Sales will include a range of standard equipment as well as custom built equipment.
  • Experience within the agricultural/vegetable handling industry, in particular packhouse and processing, will be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail in working closely with clients to create bespoke solutions is paramount.
  • Forming and maintaining strong relationships with clients in new and existing markets is key.
  • An independent and goal-oriented approach.

Licence/s and Passports :

  • Up-to-date Passport.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.

Rate of Pay : Highly Competitive
