An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-driven Service Care Manager at our Irvine office. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Delight Supported Living Ltd is an established and fast-growing company who already has busy offices in Scotland and England.
Main duties
- Deliver a high level of quality support to Service Users, ensuring each service is safe, effective, caring, and always responsive to the Service Users’ needs
- Manage and monitor staff of the service, ensuring effective utilisation of resources to enable the provision of good quality, safe and effective services
- To ensure that all statutory, regulatory and Company Policy requirements are communicated, managed, and achieved.
- Conducting, initial care needs assessments, care plans, risk assessments in a timely manner and in line with organisational policies.
- To ensure that there is effective communication within the organisation and between the organisation and all other stakeholders.
- To ensure that all safeguarding policies are implemented and monitored, and any concerns reported and dealt with accordingly
- To ensure that equal opportunity principals are always applied.
- To be aware of the Quality Assurance Policy of the Company in the provision of a quality service to the Service Users and ensuring this is part of your responsibility and practice.
- To always represent the Company in a professional manner, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.
- To always maintain confidentiality as per GDPR policy and carry out the Company’s Confidentiality Policy.
- To maintain and always raise the fundamental standards as laid by Care Inspectorate/SSSC.
- Ensure staff training needs are met.
- To audit the Quality & Performance of service delivery through Service User reviews and staff supervisions to identify underperforming areas and areas of further development and improvement. To inform your Registered Manager of your findings.
- To be always flexible and responsive to meet the changing needs of the service and the Service Users.
- Coordinating duties and responsibilities/Overseeing other Coordinators.
Communication
- Ensure effective internal communications with the Directors, Care Management team and Care Workers.
Staff Management
- Support the Registered Manager and Coordinators to establish and maintain appropriate staff resources for all care operations to ensure that all projects are delivered effectively, efficiently.
- To support the Registered Manager to recruit, select, supervise, and manage the training and performance of staff team.
