• Please note this position will be required to provide cover across two locations: Slough, SL3 8AG and Reading RG6 1PT*

Successful candidates will be local to the site location, possess a valid SIA licence, have a good command of English, excellent computer skills, the ability to conduct patrols and availability to work both day and night shifts. Security experience is not necessarily required, as training will be provided.

Duties include

As a Security Officer, you will support the contract, ensuring that the client’s premises, equipment, and staff are protected in accordance with the Assignment instructions, whilst always maintaining a quality service.

We are looking for a Security Officer who has excellent time management and organization skills. To enable them to complete day-to-day duties, which include but are not limited to: Monitoring access and egress, booking visitors/contractors/staff on and off site, conducting patrolling internally & externally, Monitor CCTV footage, in line with company policy & procedures,

The ideal Security Officer will have a personal interest in resolving issues that they are faced with and thrive off being accurate in all duties and receptive to any incidents you may face.

As a Security Officer, you will be required to report on all Health and Safety issues in accordance with company policy & procedures. We are looking for a candidate who takes pride in their appearance and professional standards, with the willingness to adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of their work.

Essential requirements

Ability to provide a full 5-year work history without gaps (including periods of unemployment).

Must have excellent speaking and written English / communications

ValidSIA Licence (frontline)

CCTV Licence (Not essential training provided)

First Aid Certification (Not essential, training provided)

Previous knowledge/experience in the Security Sector (not essential, training provided)

Eligible to work full-time in the UK without restrictions

Good IT and numeracy skills

Versatility to cover staff holidays/sickness

Roles / Responsibilities

Deliver a consistent and professional standard of customer service in a professional setting

Carry out routine patrols internal

Completion of detailed reports when needed
