React JS (MUI) Front-End Developer - Ongoing Part-Time Work
We’re looking for a skilled React JS developer to join us on a part-time, long-term basis.
We’re a small, calm, and focused tech company doing big things in a very specific corner of the world - the UK boarding school market.

Role
You’ll be working on a modern web platform that supports students, schools, and families with complex travel and logistics. Your focus will be on building and refining front-end features using React and Material UI - helping us deliver polished, intuitive experiences to thousands of users.
This is ongoing work with flexibility. we’re looking for someone to work alongside us as our platform grows.
What You’ll Do
- Build and improve front-end components using React JS + MUI
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers
- Ensure responsive design and smooth UX across desktop and mobile
- Improve performance, accessibility, and front-end consistency
- Work in an Agile environment following Scrum methodologies
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience with React JS
- Strong skills with Material UI and styled components
- Experience with React Hooks, state management (Context/Redux), form libraries (React Hook Form), and validation (Yup)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and async workflows
- Clean, well-organized, reusable code practices

We’re a small but dedicated team solving real-world problems in education and travel. You’ll work closely with our CTO and product team. We move quickly, communicate clearly, and value thoughtful engineering. This role is perfect for someone who values flexibility, long-term collaboration, and meaningful work.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £35.00-£42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
