An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated ECT Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEN Secondary school in Bilston, Wolverhampton.
We are looking for a Maths Teacher who can inspire and engage students with Special Educational Needs, helping them develop their numeracy skills and confidence in mathematics. This is a permanent position, available as either a full-time role or a four-day-per-week contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes progress and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN or alternative education setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual student needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
