: UX Writer

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine user-focused content for consumer medical devices or health software, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to create cohesive user experiences.

Write, edit, and optimize UX copy, including interface text, instructional guides, error messages, and FAQs.

Ensure content aligns with brand tone, user needs, and legal/regulatory standards specific to the healthcare industry.

Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine content.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a UX Writer, with a preference for work on medical devices or healthcare software.

Strong ability to write concise, engaging, and effective user-facing content.

Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across remote teams.

Ability to work West Coast hours (PST time zone).

Immediate availability for a 6-month contract.

Preferred Skills:
Background in health communication or a related field.

Experience conducting content testing and user research.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.

This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months and the potential for extension. The position starts immediately, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on innovative health products.

Location: Remote, preference for availability during West Coast business hours.
