Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills for processing payments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
• A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly desirable.

Pay: £12.14-£12.28 per hour
