The Opportunity
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a cohesive internal communications strategy that connects employees to A-SAFE 's mission, vision, and values. By driving a culture of openness and engagement, you will ensure colleagues across the organisation feel informed, valued, and connected. Identifying communication gaps, you will introduce solutions that enhance transparency and effectiveness.
A core focus of the role is crafting high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including newsletters, Teams, SharePoint, video content, and company-wide updates. You will ensure messages are clear, compelling, and aligned with business priorities while continuously improving internal communication platforms for accessibility and impact.
You will also lead internal events such as town halls, leadership briefings, and employee recognition initiatives, collaborating with the People Team and other departments to reinforce A-SAFE’s culture and key messages.
As part of our digital transformation, you will champion the adoption of new communication technologies and play a key role in the potential implementation of a multilingual internal communications app to support our global workforce. Exploring innovative methods such as video, podcasts, and interactive platforms, you will ensure communications remain fresh and engaging.
Finally, you will act as the vital link between employees and leadership, establishing feedback mechanisms that promote two-way communication and employee advocacy. Your role will ensure leadership stays connected to employee sentiment, helping to foster a collaborative, engaged workforce.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strategic Communication Skills: Ability to craft and execute internal communication strategies that align with business priorities.
- Exceptional Writing & Editing: Strong ability to create engaging, clear, and compelling content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Project & Event Management: Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute communication initiatives and corporate events effectively
- Experience in Global or Multi-Site Organisations: Understanding of the complexities of communicating across different geographies, cultures, and working environments.
