About us:
Eco Approach Ltd is a leading property certification and installation company specialising in compliance, certification, heating, electrical installations, servicing & repairs and energy efficiency improvements. We visit over 10,000 properties across the UK a month carrying out our services. This is split between a Business to Consumer (B2C) element working on behalf of landlords and homeowners directly and a Business to Business (B2B) model working with estate agents, housing associations, energy companies and other businesses that would require our services.
Eco Approach Ltd is expanding its business activities by launching its Retrofit Division in the North West from our Preston office, focusing on bringing ECO Approach’s strategic and operational expertise into the market, capitalising on both the private Able to Pay market and the government grant-funded market (Such as GBIS, ECO4, SHDF, LADS & HUGS).
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of HR functions, ensuring compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the people within the business.
You will believe in people before process and be excited by the opportunity to help build our HR function from the ground up. You will be passionate about driving employee engagement and fostering a high-performance culture, while understanding the importance of good HR administration and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of our HR Systems and processes, ensuring compliance across Eco Approach
- Implement policies and processes to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures discreetly, effectively and fairly.
- Help to foster a high-performance culture through performance management and career development programs
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
- Oversee HR analytics, reporting and workforce insights to drive decision-making
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
- Monitor and improve employee engagement and retention strategies.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in an HR business partner or HR Manager role
- CIPD qualification is preferred
- Good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- High level of emotional intelligence with excellent communications skills
- Demonstratable experience of collaborating across different department and business partnering skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
