Location: Wednesbury
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 42.5 hours
Salary: £35,000+ Bonus

The Role

As Sales Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing our Customer Sales Team while driving branch-based sales and margin growth. Your expertise in sales strategy, customer engagement, and team management will play a key role in maintaining and expanding our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to retain existing customers and attract new business.
  • Ensure sales targets are clearly understood and consistently met by the team.
  • Build strong relationships with the Field Sales team to drive collaboration.
  • Oversee accurate processing of customer orders and maintain high service standards.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development support to team members.
  • Effectively delegate tasks while recognizing the importance of team engagement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and complaints.
  • Monitor team performance against targets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of personal and team development through capability initiatives.
  • Nurture strong customer relationships and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer queries.

What We 're Looking For

  • Customer-focused experience - both telephone and face-to-face.
  • Proven outbound sales experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a sales team.
  • Training and mentoring experience for new team members.
  • Familiarity with carrier networks and logistics processes.
