Financial Crime Programme Manager responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver financial crime transformation programmes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans related to financial crime prevention.
- Leading a number of workstreams across Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), AML, KYC and transaction banking.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all banking sectors.
Planning, coordinate and drive completion of all project artefacts including the charter, regulatory requirements, project roadmap, budget, testing, deliverables implementation and handover into business as usual.
Managing risks and issues and their associated mitigation plans to the C-level Project Sponsor and appropriate committees (SteerCo) to prevent impact or additional risk.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial crime frameworks.
- Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance on financial crime related matters to the team and senior management.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of financial crime controls.
- Stay updated on financial crime trends and regulatory changes within the industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Crime Programme Manager should have:
- A solid educational background in Finance, Economics or related field.
- Proficiency in managing financial crime programmes.
- Strong knowledge of financial crime principles and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) preferred.
- Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and across various departments.
