Our Newcastle office is currently looking for a Project Manager (7 month FTC) to join our Marketing and Business Development Operations team.

The Role

This role operates in a busy team, which supports the wider Marketing & Business Development function in EMEA, driving and supporting key marketing and business development projects.

The role will report into the EMEA Head of MBD Operations. Hand-over and training will be provided but experience in a professional environment, project management and reporting are essential.

As a project manager you will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects, including designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of a project from end to end. You may be required to handle multiple projects of varying complexity at a time and you should be methodical with exceptional time and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting with senior management and internal teams to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and resources.
  • Developing and updating detailed project plans to guide project teams and revise based on changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of team members.
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure project progress remains on track, within timeline, requirements and budget. Monitor scope creep and ensure completion of project milestones and tasks.
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
  • Develop support documentation.
  • Set KPIs and monitor and report on performance.
  • Identify and highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues.
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects.
  • Encourage collaborative working.
  • Conducting project reviews, preparing, and distributing status reports, ensuring internal and external stakeholders receive adequate communication.
  • Assisting with managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for project teams and stakeholders and have day to day accountability for the service and solutions provided by Project Management team.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Process oriented with good organisational skills, attention to detail and focus on prioritisation.
  • Self-motivated, holds high level of accountability for themselves.
  • Strong time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaborator and team player with ability to interface with multiple teams and functions.
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to operate in a fast paced, delivery focused working environment.
  • Quality output orientated.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with various disciplines and management levels.
  • Ideally some hands-on delivery/support of projects or working in PMO.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite O365 (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • PowerBi skills (preferable but not essential).
