Are you a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a full-time opportunity in Chesterfield? A friendly and supportive primary school is looking for a committed HLTA to join their team for the summer term.

Role Overview:

• Full-time HLTA position for the summer term
• Deliver engaging lessons and provide classroom cover when required
• Support teachers in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities
• Work with small groups and individuals to reinforce learning and development
• Assist in the management of classroom behaviour and engagement
• Provide support for pupils with SEND and additional learning needs

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or significant teaching assistant experience
• Strong understanding of primary curriculum and lesson delivery
• Ability to lead classes and provide effective pupil support
• Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
