Job Summary
We are seeking LGV 2 Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations.

Duties

• Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods, securing cargo appropriately for transport.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and logistics.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid HGV licence (minimum 2 years).
• Familiarity with tippers, skips or RORO operations is advantageous.
• Strong navigation skills and the ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• A commitment to safety and the ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously.
