We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Workshop Engineer to join our Commercial team at our Cheltenham Head Office. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on, and fast-paced work environment. Your responsibilities as a Junior Workshop Engineer will be:

• Set up, unbox and configure a variety of technology products, including printers, photocopiers, digital signage displays, mini PCs, and more.
• Follow the installation schedule provided by the Installation Planner or Operations Manager, ensuring equipment is set up in a logical order and ahead of scheduled installation dates.
• Ensure all hardware is configured to the required specifications as outlined in the order details.
• Efficiently manage stock levels for installations and optimise warehouse space. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
• Report any issues or faults with new equipment promptly to the Installation Manager for resolution.
• Provide support for installations when necessary, offering assistance due to resource requirements.

About you

• Experience or an understanding of configuring, assembling, or dismantling technology products or working within an IT environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• Competence in handling electrical and tech products with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• A willingness to learn.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
