We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our friendly and dynamic team at North Coast Collective Ltd, a leading hospitality group, as an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Administrator.

This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary ranging from £ 32,000 to £38,000 per annum, with a flexible and supportive work environment.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and personable individual to manage our bookkeeping and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for candidates experienced in the following areas:

  • Processing and reconciling sales and purchase invoices
  • Managing payments, credit control, and reconciliations for bank and supplier statements
  • Processing payroll and managing timesheets
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Using Sage 50 accounting and payroll software
  • Overseeing both accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Performing administrative and secretarial tasks, including typing and document management
  • Communicating with accountants, suppliers, and contractors
  • Handling customer and supplier queries via email and in person
  • Assisting with financial analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets for data analysis
  • Ensuring timely completion of financial reporting and compliance tasks
  • Processing a complex cross-functional employee payroll using Sage 50

Requirements:

  • AAT part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (hospitality experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong data entry and bookkeeping skills
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 for accounting and payroll
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
