Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your ability to engage with customers, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate culinary knowledge will contribute significantly to our establishment’s success.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that may arise.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
• Process payments accurately while handling cash and card transactions responsibly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu items can enhance guest interactions.

We have both full time and part time opportunities available, please note that due to the location of the venue you would need your own transport.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£15.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 48 per week
