About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Support young people aged 16-25 in our Life and Living Skills Programme, helping them develop independence and essential life skills.
- Work in College Residential, where students reside while accessing their programme.
- Encourage young people to make their own decisions and explore new experiences.
- Provide personalised support based on their needs, aspirations, and goals.
- Facilitate social and leisure activities in the community, including weekend trips, events, and social clubs.
- Help young people prepare for their next steps, whether that’s further education, employment, or independent living.
We offer comprehensive training and a structured induction programme to ensure you feel confident in your role.
About You
We’re looking for kind, friendly, and compassionate individuals who:
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for supporting young people.
- Enjoy working in a busy, team-oriented environment.
- Want to help young people develop confidence and independence.
- Are open to learning and personal development–no prior experience needed!
Working Patterns
Weekend Only: 28 hours per week
- Saturdays & Sundays (08:00 - 22:30)
- Actual salary: £20,460.72 - £21,045.92
