The Team
This is a unique opportunity to build a global management consulting capability in the Workday space with the advantage of collaborating with a global Workday technology services capability. We will build a diverse team of practitioners who give expert functional and industry specific advice exploiting the innovation provided by the Workday platform. We will reinvent partnering with Workday and find real differentiation for our clients. The Role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Practice Lead who will build and grow our Workday consulting and advisory practice; be responsible for sales and delivery of Workday programmes at key clients; and will have proven experience and capability in these key areas:
- Building a practice that elevates our proposition from a technology implementation approach to a strategic consulting & advisory capability.
- Shaping and selling strategic Workday financial & workforce management transformation by engaging with senior stakeholders to help solve their business challenges.
- Overseeing delivery of Workday solutions, in a programme management capacity, on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
- Identifying new and expansion business opportunities on these programmes to help ensure Infosys Consulting is positioned to provide additional high-quality services.
- Managing proactive Workday proposal development, focusing on the Infosys Consulting value proposition, key differentiators, and win themes.
- Assuming the role of trusted advisor to clients providing guidance in matters relating to Workday within relevant industries.
- Operating successfully within a service and/or consulting organisation, mentoring, and guiding teams of consultants in direct, indirect, and matrixed structures.
- Coordinating relationship building activities across teams on each client engagement to help ensure they are well advised on important matters.
- Taking accountability for consulting revenues and operating margins at the key account(s) for which the individual is responsible.
- Providing stewardship to team members, taking an active role in guiding their professional growth and development, through coaching, mentoring and performance development.
Requirements
The following requirements are important for the role, and we would expect candidates to demonstrate capability across many of these areas:
- Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in enterprise transformation consulting.
- Recognised expertise in Workday Financial & Workforce Management solutions
- Well established networks, relationships and involvement in Workday ecosystem.
- Ability to work at a senior level within complex organisations, able to build empathy, credibility, and trust with key customers.
- Proven track record of achievement in selling and delivering consulting and technology services, whilst delivering business objectives within large corporate environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, sales capability, and negotiation skills.
- Extensive programme and delivery management skills.
- Strong presentation skills, experienced and comfortable presenting to large groups and delivering inspiring and engaging presentations.
- Collaborative leader, with a willingness to lead by example and roll up their sleeves, inspire internal and client teams and push the boundaries of their achievement.
- Passionate about disruptive innovation and transformational ideas.
- Mature interpersonal and influencing skills, especially at senior client levels.
- Ability to travel as/when required.
