Summary
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be integral in delivering calibration and maintenance for industrial weighing products at client locations across predominately East Anglia.
Servicing, calibrating and repairing every type of scale from Laboratory Balances to Weighbridges.
Reporting to the Service Manager, your role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring optimal performance of the weighing equipment. Core skills in diagnostics, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and customer communication are essential, while premium skills in project management and technical documentation will enhance your effectiveness. Relevant skills in electrical systems and software troubleshooting will further support our commitment to exceptional service. Service Engineer Experience preferred, but not essential
Full training provided for the right candidate
Fork truck license an advantage (training can be provided)
Very occasional nights out required
Occasional weekends
40hr week + overtime
25 days a year holiday with 3 days to be taken over Xmas + Bank Holidays
Overtime approx. £3k per annum
Saturday rate is x 1.5 (time and a half)
Sunday rate is x 2 (Double time)
