Job Title: Process Improvement Technician
Location: Bishop Auckland, Durham
Salary: Up to £32,000

A leading manufacturer with over four decades of excellence in the industry is seeking a Process Improvement Technician to join their dedicated team. Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
- 37.5 hours per week

As a Process Improvement Technician, you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and performance across production operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be trained in time study methodologies while working hands-on across various manufacturing processes to gain an in-depth understanding of equipment and operations.
Once trained, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting time studies and establishing standard minute values.
- Performing method studies and identifying improvements.
- Enhancing labour effectiveness, process layouts, and workflows.
- Supporting new product development and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Designing and improving recording systems within your area of responsibility.
- Producing detailed reports to support continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
- A-Level education or NVQ Level 3.
- 3-5+ years’ experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
- Experience of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
