Role: Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer at BoWatt, you will:

• Design, build, deploy and maintain features for our React web application and Go/Python backend, some of which will utilise AI tools such as LLMs and RAG pipelines.
• Own features from end-to-end, taking them from planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.
• Stay updated on cutting-edge web technologies/machine learning advancements and integrate them into BoWatt’s solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in full stack web development.
• Proficiency in at least one statically-typed backend language (Go preferred).
• Proficiency in web technologies like React and TS.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related field (Exceptions available for exceptional candidates)

Nice to Have

• Prior work experience in a start-up environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering industries processes.
• Knowledge of PDF manipulation and extraction.
• Some experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Compensation

• Competitive salary based on experience (£50,000 - £67,000)
