We are seeking an experienced Human Resources generalist, reporting directly to the Managing Director, to lead our people related processes and culture.
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, rewards and benefits and organisational development to help both RenEnergy and its people develop and grow. Leadership of learning and development will be a key requirement of the role, and the ability to drive the establishment of a new training academy for our people an important output.
The company has been working within the Renewable Energy sector since 2006. Our company’s objective is to create a sustainable future by helping our customers save on electricity costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Undertake workforce planning and manage the recruitment and selection process
- Ongoing assessment of the training and development needs of the business and the creation of a new training academy for our team.
- Provide generalist HR support and advice to key colleagues in accordance with current legislation, including training on policies, people development, disciplinary procedures etc.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Undertake initiatives to nurture a positive working environment/culture
- Create a safe working environment through the implementation of clear policies and procedures, compliance with relevant legislation (including Health & Safety) and compliance with industry codes of conduct.
- Guide, manage and administer employee rewards, compensation and benefits
- Ensure business competitiveness by advising on working practices, staff benefits, annual salary reviews etc. in a timely matter
- Co-ordinate and manage HR projects and events that support the business objectives
- Report to management and provide decision making support through HR metrics, including budget management
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications -CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification with substantial HR management experience, particularly in learning and development initiatives.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong strategic and commercial awareness with the ability to translate strategy into actionable HR plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills with a people-oriented approach.
- Highly organised, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR law and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
