2Fawcett Recruitment are now seeking a talented Junior Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects.

The Role:
As a Junior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and development of mechanical components and systems. Working closely with senior engineers, you will assist in creating 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes, ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Create 3D CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Conduct design analysis, including stress and tolerance calculations.
• Support the development of prototypes and product testing.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and production.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for design.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
