Junior Hardware Engineer (London)

Join our founding team in London as a hardware engineer pushing the boundaries of what low cost, autonomous devices are capable of.

In this role you will:

• Design and develop hardware systems, such as integrated enclosures, onboard electronics, and mechanical components, for a wide range of defense use cases (e.g. GPS-denied navigation for UAVs)
• Build, fly and test a variety of drones and drone systems.
• Travel to test sites and customer locations in Europe and beyond.

Must have experience:

• CAD (preferably SolidWorks).
• 3D printing / additive manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Designing and building drones (fixed wing preferable).
• Ability to build and test electronic circuits.
• Strong communication skills - you’ll be working within a small team, close to the software engineers.
• A degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering or similar.

Nice to have experience:

• Experience designing electronic circuits, breadboards, PCBs.
• Drone qualifications such as A2 CofC (if you don’t have it we can help you get this after you join).
