Pensdown Ltd are an Electrical Contractor based near Sevenoaks, Kent, and is seeking a highly driven, motivated project manager to oversee multiple electrical projects across the UK. This role requires a balance of office-based work in Wrotham/from home and on-site project management nationwide for bluechip companies. Candidates must be flexible with travel and occasional unsociable hours.

The Role:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards. For the right candidate, the role could lead to becoming a director, working alongside the current contracts manager. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct site surveys for new and upcoming projects.
• Manage multiple electrical projects from inception through to completion.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with customers via Teams and in person.
• Review completed installations for quality control and NICEIC QS sign-off.
• Support field operatives and oversee project kick-offs on-site.
• Prepare customer quotations, estimates, and tender proposals.
• Plan job requirements, including pre-construction documentation, materials, labour and plant procurement.
• Act as company NICEIC QS alongside another colleague, signing off test sheets and reports.
• Oversee and provide support for engineers.
• Manage customer accounts and liaise on both project and small works.
• Hold supplier meetings and manage procurement.
• Compile O&M documentation and site drawings pre- and post-project.
• Research and improve product knowledge.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Contracts Manager in the electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services, power distribution, structured cabling, and fit-out projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with main contractors and direct clients.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, NICEIC requirements, and health & safety regulations.
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
• Should be self-motivated and well organised with proficient IT skills
• High level of attention to detail and Customer focused
• Self assured and able to work under pressure and deal with demanding clients.

Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
