We are looking for an experienced, passionate bar/ waiter professional who understands first class customer service and team interaction

Someone who is passionate about the proffession and understands that hospitality needs a flexible, adaptable and friendly approach.

This person would join a very skilled team in a well established, thriving country pub, where good old fashioned hearty pub grub and a friendly, warm welcome is key.

We are a family run business who appreciate our team as extended family. We understand that work life balance is important! so this role is based on 4 days per week and 3 days per week off. But we expect the same level of respect back. If you give us 100% , we will give you 150% back XX

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver orders to tables and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately

Requirements:

  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety guidelines
  • Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
  • Culinary knowledge to answer guest questions about ingredients or preparation methods
  • Willingness to help team members as needed for a smooth dining experience
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
