: Electrical Engineer – Defence Sector (Electronic Proving Services)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our Defence sector team, specializing in Electronic Proving Services. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful preparation, execution, and documentation of trials for advanced defence equipment. Your technical expertise and analytical skills will contribute to delivering reliable and high-quality solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ad-Hoc Document Peer Review:
- Read and critically assess trials documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
- Equipment and Trial Preparation Reporting:
- Conduct and prepare detailed reports for:
- Mechanical Pre-flight Trials: Assess and document the readiness of equipment for trial execution.
- ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) Trials: Perform ESS trials and contribute to comprehensive reporting.
- Legacy TCR (Test Completion Report) Activities:
- Collect and analyze trial data to support technical evaluations.
- Produce and publish thorough documentation of test results and findings.
- Mechanical Trial Support:
- Participate in the preparation, execution, and reporting of:
- Mechanical Pre-Qualification Trials: Validate readiness for pre-qualification requirements.
- Mechanical Qualification Trials: Ensure compliance with qualification standards through rigorous trial processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the defence or aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in trial preparation and evaluation processes.
- Collaborative team player with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to commute to Bristol or Stevenage as required.
- Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
- Must be a British National.
