Rentokil Initial first engaged with Workday in 2012, and has since deployed the Product to 18 markets. Workday has become a
significant area of focus for the business with a deployment roadmap over 3 years and a number of identified opportunities to
deliver business capability and value. This role reports to the Workday Support Manager, working closely with the Global
Workday Solution Managers as well as the country HR and Operations teams.The Workday Analysts are responsible for
providing a responsive service supporting the adoption, development and continued deployment of Workday.
This opportunity provides technical and function administration of Workday and will include day-to-day support as well as
supporting ongoing project implementations. You’ll be working across a number of Workday modules such as global HCM,
Absence, Performance, Compensation, Payroll and Time. You will support the maintenance of Workday, including integrations,
mass data uploads (EIBs), security, and reporting. The role is a blend of BAU HRIS work and involvement in strategic projects to
improve Workday usage and capabilities. You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues and look for opportunities to continually
improve the functionality and adoption of Workday. You will also develop and maintain complex Workday reports including
matrix and composite reports whilst providing support for existing custom reports and conducting regular report
reviews, ensuring all data meets security and data privacy standards.
1. Workday System Maintenance and Support:
- Incident Management:
○ Monitor and manage the Workday support queue, prioritising and resolving Tier 1 & 2 incidents and requests (e.g. security
assignments, data corrections).
○ Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve system issues, escalating complex problems to Global Solutions Managers or outsourced
technical teams as needed.
○ Ensure the operational effectiveness of Workday through proactive system reviews and analysis.
- Release Management & Testing:
○ Support semi-annual Workday releases, including regression and unit testing of new features and changes.
○ Participate in the system development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and support,
collaborating with Global Solutions Managers and outsourced teams.
- Data Management:
○ Develop and manage Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data loading strategies for deployments, business-as-usual (BAU)
activities, and mergers & acquisitions.
○ Work with the wider HR Team to ensure data quality and consistency, investigating and resolving system issues.
2. Workday Optimisation and Improvement:
- Process Improvement:
○ Continuously identify and implement opportunities to optimise Workday efficiency, drive automation, and enhance user
adoption.
○ Drive the completion of cyclical Workday processes, such as performance reviews, period schedules, and year-end time off
actions.
- Reporting and Analytics:
○ Develop and enhance Workday reporting capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making.
○ Maintain a reporting catalog, build custom reports, dashboards, and discovery boards.
3. User Training and Support:
- Customer Service:
○ Provide excellent and consistent global customer service to all Workday users.
- Training and Documentation:
○ Provide Workday training to employees at all levels.
○ Develop and maintain knowledge articles and training materials.
4. Continuous Learning:
- Stay Informed:
○ Remain up-to-date on Workday system updates, releases, and best practices.
Requirements
Experience:
Preferred but not required

At least 1 year previous HRIS Support Experience with Workday

Managing service requests via a Ticketing system, e.g. ServiceNow
-
Development of Dashboards, Matrix and Composite Reports

Mass transactions, such as Uploads Experience with Workday Integrations
