ROLE OVERVIEW
The Enterprise Applications Product Owner will be lead for ghd ERP development and demand management. Working with business stakeholders & global process leads to ensure the ongoing development and management of key business applications.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Blue Yonder.
- Drive the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
- Develop and drive the overall MSD Test Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and inspire ERP consultant, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in developing and executing test strategy, test cases and plans for any releases, development or change work.
Change and Release Management
- Manage, prioritise and co-ordinate the change management process for twice monthly BAU releases.
- Create the yearly release calendar for MSD.
- Plan and execute the release schedule globally ensuring that all test cases have been executed, minimal disruption to the business and production is upgraded successfully.
- Lead and coordinate efforts across Finance, Supply Chain and Operations globally to ensure localisations are tested successfully and new functionality is delivered to help each market.
- Make sure all 3rd party integrations are tested and kept upgraded to be in line with MSD
- Lead and coordinate market prioritisation for Change Review Board & produce pack for monthly meeting with directors
- Lead and coordinate the design authority meetings to ensure BAU change & enhancements are fit for purpose within the overall system configuration and global template
Reporting and Administration
- Manage all MSD access requests, monthly audit on leavers and action any market access review requests from Finance and Audit
- Provide reporting for MSD licenses and pull together market reviews for the annual license review during PF with Finance
Training and Documentation
- Maintain Global Training portal for all process documentation from GPL and markets
- Comprehensive product documentation and training materials for internal teams and customers
Project Management
- Work alongside the IT project team to coordinate and handover projects to BAU support, this includes ensuring we have the right documentation handed over, contract terms, and challenge process and procedures accordingly
- Support project delivery by providing technical support, solution input and best practice / governance over global template
Technical Support
- Ensure all MSD environments are refreshed regularly and coordinate the testing which is happening in each environment.
- Attend Service reviews with AMS and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Understand and support integrations into MSD across a broad range of applications for different parts of the business
- Make sure all these integrations are tested and kept upgraded to be in line with MSD
- Ensure TAS license keys are updated
- Configure and keep all workflows up to date globally, making any changes in line with DOAM updates
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Experience in application support, while working in an enterprise environment, ideally within an ITIL framework.
- The ability to manipulate and extract data to enable analysis for incident and problem resolution
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics & Blue Yonder products
- Good knowledge of the full Microsoft Suite of business applications & developer tools - Azure DevOps / Office etc
- Good understanding of business applications specifically ERP (Dynamics 365 preferable), CRM, Supply Chain Planning (Blue Yonder preferable), BI and WMS
- The ability to understand and interpret customer requests and the business processes supported by ERP systems
- Practical experience of working with multiple technology platforms and applications
- Experienced working in a large-scale, agile methodology led project and sustaining strong working relationships with business stakeholders, external 3rd parties and IT Development Team
- Ability to work autonomously and to plan and organise own and peer workloads whilst working within challenging deadlines, but also to work as part of a wider team.
- A customer-focused approach to work alongside exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills and business awareness
- Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adept at collaborating with employees at all levels.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, able to identify issues in advance and with the ability to understand the bigger picture
