As the Sous Chef, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food preparation and presentation are consistently met.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
