Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes, demonstrating culinary expertise.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
- Experience in menu planning and food production management.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
