Job Summary
We are Nossa Restaurant www.nossarestaurant.co.uk , a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. This role requires a strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock control.
- Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu specifications.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
