Job Overview
We are on the hunt for a new Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will either be an existing Head Chef with experience in a similar environment or an experienced Sous Chef who is looking for that next step up the ladder.

The Brewers Arms is a busy, family run, village freehouse which is well established in the local area. Our restaurant has over fifty covers and adjoins the lively bar. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our quality standards while encouraging a positive team environment.

Your role

You will be reponsible for the day to day running of the kitchen operation maintaining the high and consistent standards. You will lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques and ensure that dishes are produced and delivered to an exceptional quality each and every time.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen management practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail in food presentation and service.
• Passion for cooking with a creative flair for menu development and innovation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
