Florist/Retail Assistant - Gorseinon - West End Florist Interflora

We are seeking a part-time florist to cover a temporary staff absence - 2 days a week for 4.5 hours a day (9 hours per week)

The successful candidate should have 1 years experience working in a florist environment.

This vacancy will initially be for 1 month, however this period may be extended and more permanent work could be offered in the future.

You must be happy to work independently as there will be times when you will be in the shop on your own.

You must have excellent customer service skills, including good handwriting, spelling and telephone manner.

Must have a good eye for detail and be creative.

A familiarity with computers would be beneficial as you may be accepting online orders and relaying orders to other Interflora members.

A full clean driving licence would also be beneficial, as you may be required to make deliveries.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Serving customers face-to-face and taking orders over the phone. Making up floral orders to a high standard. Cleaning and maintaining a tidy work environment.

Salary meets the national living wage.

This post is for 2 days a week (9 hours per week)

If invited for interview you will be expected to demonstrate your floral skills by creating a number of items. So please only apply if you have the necessary skills and experience.
