You will be responsible for developing intuitive and robust user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Js, and ensuring responsive, cross-platform, cross-browser support.

Main Responsibilities
-
Frontend and JS development of our SaaS application:
-
Building both every day and innovative features to add value for users
-
Contributing to and reviewing user stories, requirements, design documents and new features
-
Taking part in sprint meetings, project reviews and regular catch-ups
-
Identifying new technologies and techniques which we can use to improve our products
-
Implementing existing ideas for UX improvement

Defining and maintaining our frontend technology strategy

Ensuring that the Frontend of our product is second to none:
-
Using technologies including HTMS, CSS, JavaScript and React to implement UI
-
Working with the rest of the development team to deliver a complete working solution

Writing test scenarios and automated tests based on the use case and requirements

Collaborating with the QA team to investigate and resolve issues before deployment

Developing a basic understanding of other parts of our software stack (Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Google Cloud Platform)

Supporting other parts of the wider business (Marketing, Sales, Support)
Requirements
Proven experience with:
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- JavaScript frameworks e.g. React, Angular, Vue
- CSS processing e.g. SCSS, PostCSS
- Server-side build pipelines using Webpack
- Continuous Integration & Delivery and DevOps tools and practices e.g. GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of version control systems and workflows (Git), automated browser testing and debugging
- Ideal but not essential - any experience with NodeJS, Yarn, Bootstrap, Redux, JS build tools, unit testing frameworks W3C WCAG 2.1
About You:
- Strongly creative and analytical, with excellent oral/written communication and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, energetic, self-motivated and a good team player
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, passionate about technology
- Flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks and relationships, whilst paying attention to details
- Must have a clean, valid driving licence
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
Desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of procurement
- Experience of SaaS software
- Agile Front End development experience - familiar with Scrum or Kanban
