This is an excellent opportunity for a Business-Minded person seeking a new and exciting Leadership Role within the domiciliary care sector.

As part of our development for the organisation, we are seeking an ambitious, commercial and compassionate registered branch manager to develop, lead and grow our Blackpool branch. As a dedicated and confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills you will play a leading role alongside the Director to develop the branch. The ideal candidate will preferably have prior experience of managing a domiciliary care service.

The successful candidate must meet CQC Registered Manager requirements and be dedicated to achieving the highest quality care standards.

This position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to deliver continued growth of a client-focused care business of the highest quality. The role is for an experienced Care Manager who is happy and able to work on their own.

Accountable to the director, you will be responsible for the safe and secure delivery of care to our customers, actively participate in the growth and development of the Company and manage budgets to ensure profitability of the business.

As the registered manager you will be fundamental in the operational day to day running of the branch including allocation of care staff, quality control, process and systems management, people management, complaints and business development.

The ideal candidate should be of a cheerful, approachable character and experienced in Care Management with a good knowledge of the Blackpool areas to lead the branch and to deliver a minimum of “Good” CQC ratings. What we are seeking:

• Must hold a current British driving licence and have own vehicle
• Leadership qualities
• Experience of managing an effective team
• Ideally (but not essential) at least 5 year’s recent relevant experience in a management position for the Registered Manager’s role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with individual service users, their family and professional colleagues
• A positive attitude to work and to change
• The ability to deal effectively with crisis/emergencies
• A flexible approach (with ability to work hours to needs of the business) and provide an on call out of hours service.
• Good business acumen and a drive for growth
• Provide leadership, management and support to the branch team
• Understanding of CQC assessment criteria

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £39,520.00 per year
