Quality Engineer

Hours: 38 hours per week.

The Role

Sellectronics ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer, You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to standards throughout our manufacturing processes, encouraging a culture of quality.

Your key aim will be to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will report to the Director of Compliance and will work closely with the engineering team and production technicians, ensuring that all work is carried out according to the flow down requirements from our customers.

  • First Off Inspection
  • Kit Checks
  • Surface Mount Final Inspection
  • Conventional Final Inspection
  • Cleanliness Inspection
  • Conformal Coating Inspection
  • Roving Inspections
  • Addressing non-conformances and working with the engineering and quality teams to help in the implementation of corrective actions.

Essential

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with the team(s).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn new skills, including programming of Automated Inspection systems such as AOI and SPI
  • Experience with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s AS9100/ISO9001 QMS and ISO14001 EMS as a member of the Quality Team.

Desirable

  • Qualified to IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies(training can be given)
  • Experience with Electronics Manufacturing.
  • Experience with AS9100D Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
  • Root cause analysis methods, techniques and NCR/8D report writing
