Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with food preparation while adhering to food safety standards. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to process transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Upsell menu items by providing detailed descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise during service.
• Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
• Strong guest services skills with a passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience.
• Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
