We are seeking a dedicated and kind-hearted special educational needs teaching assistant to join the team at Portfield School.

Our Teaching Assistants are vital in ensuring each student reaches their full potential. Each TA does this by developing a positive working relationships with our students understanding their likes, dislikes and interests so that all lessons are personalised.
Working at Portfield School is unbelievably rewarding and we guarantee that no two days will be the same, this does come with some challenges which may be both physically and emotionally demanding at times. You will not be alone! Ongoing support will always be available from your team members, line manager, Leadership team, mental Health First aiders or our Employee Assistance programme.
We love celebrating all the amazing achievements here at school whether its painting a picture, trying a new food, correctly answering a maths equation or a short conversation with someone new, all on the same day with equal joy and it doesnt stop there, we want the feel good factor all the time!
Hours of work:
Monday - 08:30am - 4pm
Tuesday - 08:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday - 08:30am - 4pm
Thursday - 08:30am - 4pm
Friday - 08:30am - 3:30pm
