TEACHING ASSISTANT with Specialist Education Services

NJC Scale pts 11 - 15, £27,269 - £29,093 per annum (pro rata for term time only), depending on experience.

Specialist Education Services is looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our dual registered childrens homes and schools for 8 - 18 year olds, based in south Norfolk. One TA will join the team as soon as possible at Turnstone House (rated Outstanding by Ofsted in November 2024), and the other will join the team from September at Avocet House (rated Good by Ofsted in November 2024). SES Teaching Assistants now have the opportunity to progress their careers to unqualified teacher status, a development and assessment year can begin following two years of service or after one year if at the top of scale. If successful you would move to the UQT scale, starting at point 3 £26,716 with the ability to reach point 6 £33,902 (salary not pro-rata’d), you would also receive the annual SEN allowance, currently £2679.
