Job Title: HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver

Location: Reading

Salary: up to £16:50 per hour

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Reading. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 2 license, a good driving record, and relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles. Curtain side experience with a pallet network would be a great advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members
• Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving heavy goods vehicles
• Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.50-£16.50 per hour
