About the Role

As a Video Editor/Videographer at Boohoo, you’ll be at the forefront of creating engaging and innovative video content that showcases our latest collections, trends, and brand messaging. In a fashion-forward company like Boohoo, your role will involve working closely with the creative team to conceptualize, shoot, and edit videos that speak to our target audience. You will be responsible for turning ideas into visually stunning content, whether it’s for social media, advertisements, or internal campaigns. Expect to work on fast-turnaround projects that align with seasonal trends and marketing goals. Your skills in video editing will help bring our brand’s aesthetic to life and deliver high-quality, captivating videos across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Content ideation and development
• Edit and color content: short-form, pre-roll, social vignettes, TVC, etc.
• Collaborate with marketing and social teams to create high-quality video content
• Provide production support across larger video campaigns
• Stay up-to-date with the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of video editing/shooting experience
• Ability to work from a brief and confidently handle footage and/or shotlists
• Skilled in applying music, dialogue, SFX, graphics, and effects
• Experience creating rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions
• Strong passion for storytelling through video
• Interest in current video trends and editing/shooting styles
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling abilities
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere, with proficiency in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
• Knowledge of various camera systems
• Understanding of lighting techniques
• Motion design experience is beneficial but not essential
