Job Title: Clinical Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients, assisting with daily activities while ensuring their dignity and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for patient care and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and emotional well-being in all aspects of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Support patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments, using effective communication and de-escalation techniques.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient’s condition to senior staff.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures to maintain a safe environment.
• Help prevent pressure sores by assisting with repositioning and skin integrity checks.
• Accurately document patient care and report any safeguarding concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe care environment.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Clinical Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and infection control practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• A caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Up-to-date mandatory training, including Basic Life Support (BLS) (desirable).
