The Role:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Sales Administrator to join their office in Clevedon on a 6 month temporary contract. This role will including answering the telephone, putting quotes on to their system, chasing up deliveries and updating clients. They are looking for 6 month cover to support a secondment in the business (which could turn permanent).

This position is responsible for managing customer relationships, handling sales enquiries, and ensuring efficient order processing to meet customer needs and company sales objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Generate and process customer quotes and orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
  • Proactively offer alternatives or replacement products when required to meet customer demands.
  • Support sales growth targets by nurturing new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team to support customer accounts and drive sales initiatives.
  • Provide office-based support to enhance the overall sales function of the branch.
  • Actively contribute to achieving branch sales targets and implementing company sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal sales systems as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfilment.
  • Stay informed about product offerings

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for an organised individual who has some administration and coordination experience to join them on an initial 6 month contract. They are looking for a good communicator and someone who is very organised. In addition it would be lovely if you also were or had:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and quotes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support overall business goals.
  • Proficiency in using sales and order management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is desirable.

To Start:

ASAP 6 month temporary contract

The Hours:

Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm (4.30pm on Friday) with 1 hour lunch

£12.21 per hour
