Your role:
We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced motion designer & moving image specialist to join our video production team on a permanent basis working in our London office.
The successful candidate will be an Adobe After Effects expert, and comfortable editing in Davinci Resolve.
You will be responsible for the final output of motion graphics videos, working with the video production team, the Brand Design team (who will create the storyboards & graphic assets) and stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for producing videos such as commercials, films, video tutorials.
This individual will be responsible for upholding company brand standards and video production standards, working alongside a team of like-minded individuals across Vancouver and New York. They will partner with key internal stakeholders and designers to create compelling video content.
Your responsibilities:
- Create branded motion graphics & animations in After Effects (and Davinci Fusion where possible)
- Edit motion video or audio using non-linear editing software (Davinci Resolve), then make the final product available in the appropriate format for online services such as YouTube, Vimeo, and or social media channels.
- Be comfortable interpreting scripts and editing prompts for video projects such as (but not limited to) tutorials and commercial content.
- Participate in conference calls and round-table brainstorming sessions when necessary to build upon ideas and align projects to fit company guidelines.
- Coordinate with others when/where applicable, as related to media projects. For example, the type and angle of shots gathered for the Gastown Grand Prix.
- Prepare and Upload video to online services such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Investigate new technologies, software and techniques used throughout the Media Production process to improve the quality of work. This includes, but is not limited to, viewing videos and other tutorials created by professionals online.
- Navigate and possess a basic understanding of our proprietary systems and software.
Your skills
- 3+ years experience in a similar role either internal or working in an agency environment.
- High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and Cinema 4D
- Solid foundation in film production, composition, typography, motion, colour etc
- Experience working with project management platforms e.g. Wrike and following processes
- Camera/videographer skills would be extremely beneficial
- Great project management skills
