Job Summary

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) principles , combined with the ability to bring designs to life using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to enhance our Laravel-based web applications , ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and performant.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user interfaces for web applications using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS , ensuring responsive and accessible designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to define user requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing UI components.
  • Work closely with Laravel developers to integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Optimise UI performance by following best practices in code efficiency, browser/device compatibility, and accessibility standards.
  • Develop interactive prototypes using Figma (or similar tools) to validate user flows and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on UI/UX improvements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging front-end technologies.

Experience & Requirements

  • Proficiency in Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred) and Tailwind CSS for front-end development.
  • Experience with Laravel (Blade components, API integration) and working with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles , including responsive design, usability, and accessibility.
  • Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Laravel Forge for deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of Agile development workflows , including sprints, stand-ups, and iterative design processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Bonus: Experience with Framer Motion, GSAP, or other animation libraries to enhance UI interactions.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
